Former Egyptian football star Ahmed Hossam “Mido” has launched scathing criticism against Jamal Allam, the president of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), over the appointment of Alaa Nabil as the technical director of the federation.
Mido took to his official social media account on (X) to express his sentiments, stating: “The head of the Football Association Jamal Allam is a ‘…’. Unfortunately, it’s shameful that someone at his age is ‘…’ by the rules… claiming that Alaa Nabil has the necessary qualifications to be the technical director of the Football Association… If he’s a man, let him produce Alaa Nabil’s certificates.”
He further remarked: “The International Federation requires that the technical director of any association holds a Pro license… If you gentlemen publish this certificate on the official website of the association, I will go to the Football Association and kiss Alaa Nabil’s forehead in front of everyone.”
Mido continued: “Enough with the ‘…’. Do something right for once in your lives.”
The Egyptian Football Association recently announced the appointment of Alaa Nabil as the technical director, alongside the appointments of Hossam Hassan as the coach of the Egyptian national football team and Ibrahim Hassan as the director.
