The Egyptian Football Association has received an official letter regarding the draw for the finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, scheduled to take place on March 20 in the French capital, Paris.
Sixteen teams will participate in the competitions, divided into four groups. Among the notable qualifiers alongside the host nation France are Argentina, Spain, the United States, and Morocco.
Four remaining slots will be determined in April following the conclusion of the Asian continent qualifiers.
The Egyptian national team secured its place in the Paris Olympics after finishing as runners-up in the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, following a loss to Morocco, the tournament’s host, in the final.
