Tunisia has raised concerns and filed a reservation against Joel Matip and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting, accusing them of playing irregularly for Cameroon in the recent World Cup play-offs. Both players, born in Germany, have represented the Indomitable Lions since 2010. Tunisia’s reservation comes after their 1-4 defeat and subsequent elimination from the 2014 World Cup during the play-offs.
FIFA (International Football Federation) has requested the files of the two players from Cameroon and is expected to make a decision on November 28.
