11 clubs in the Algerian football championship will not be able to recruit during the transfer period. These are four clubs from Ligue 1 and seven from Ligue 2. The Algerian Football Federation has decided to sanction them due to unpaid debts.
In the elite division they are MC Oran, JSM Béjaia, CABB Arreridj, and MO Béjaia.
In the second division, there is CA Batna, USM Annaba, Olympique Médéa, MSP Batna, USM Bel Abbés, ES Mostaganem, and AS Khroub.
This sanction, also indicated the governing body of Algerian football, was taken notwithstanding the other sanctions provided for by the regulations. Other punishments may therefore fall.
