In the wake of a stellar performance at the recent African Cup of Nations, where he became the first Guinean player since Pascal Feindouno in 2006 to score three goals in a single edition, Mohamed Bayo has attracted interest from English club Crystal Palace. Currently on loan to Le Havre AC until the end of the season, Bayo’s future at Lille appears uncertain, where he is under contract until June 2027.
Crystal Palace, on the lookout for attacking talent for the upcoming season, has reportedly set its sights on the 25-year-old Guinean international.
During the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, Bayo’s standout performances drew the attention of the Premier League side, who have been closely monitoring his progress.
Bayo’s journey in the footballing world includes a notable transfer to Lille from Clermont Foot in 2022, amounting to 14 million euros (approximately 9.2 billion FCFA).

In the current season with Le Havre AC, Bayo has continued to shine, contributing four goals and one assist in 14 appearances across various competitions.
