The president of the Angolan football club Kabuscorp SC do Palanca, Bento dos Santos Kangamba, is facing serious accusations as he is actively sought by the Brazilian federal police. He is alleged to be the mastermind behind a human trafficking operation involving women from Brazil who were forced into prostitution in South Africa, Angola, Portugal, and Austria. Kangamba is accused of being part of an organization that lured women with promises of high salaries and then exploited them in brothels across different countries. The operation is reported to have brought significant financial gains, with the names of the Angolan head of state and his daughter linked to the illegal activities.
This is not the first time Kangamba has faced legal troubles. He narrowly escaped arrest in Monaco in July on charges of money laundering. Despite these allegations, he holds a prominent position in Angola, heading the ruling party and being considered influential in both politics and business. The Brazilian Federal Police have already arrested five individuals in connection with this case and seized assets, including luxury cars, passports, and cash in foreign currency. If Kangamba sets foot in Brazil, he risks being arrested and facing the legal consequences of these serious charges.
