Ibrahim Said, former Egyptian football star and host of the “90+” program, has shed light on the truth behind the alleged demand by Al Ahly’s first-team goalkeeper, Mohamed El Shenawy, for a 50 million pound contract renewal.
Speaking in a televised statement, Ibrahim Said stated, “Al Ahly has completely denied Mohamed El Shenawy’s request for 50 million pounds to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the next season.”
He added, “Al Ahly categorically denies El Shenawy’s requests for 50 million pounds per season to extend his contract with the club. On the contrary, this situation did not happen at all.”
Furthermore, he clarified, “Currently, Mohamed El Shenawy receives 16 million pounds per season, in addition to advertising campaigns that amount to 10 million pounds.”
