Ihab Galal, the head coach of Ismaily SC’s first football team, has decided to freeze out a number of players from the squad during the current period.
According to “Al-Masry Al-Youm,” Ihab Galal has decided to freeze out trio Bassem Bassem, Ahmed Mohsen, and Mohamed Hashem, technically excluding them from his future tactical plans due to their declining performance levels.
Ihab Galal had recommended the departure of the trio during the last winter transfer window, but Ismaily’s management did not reach an agreement with them regarding the mutual termination of contracts.
Several players left Ismaily’s ranks during the last winter transfer window, including Saleh Gomaa, Hazem Marzouk, and Mostafa Fares.
Ismaily will face Ceramica Cleopatra on Thursday evening at Ismailia Stadium as part of the twelfth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
