Mehdi Benubeid, the goalkeeper for Royal Armed Forces Club, has emerged as the most valuable player in the Moroccan Professional League, according to “Transfermarkt,” a platform specializing in club and player market values.
Benubeid’s market value soared to €1.7 million, making him the highest-valued player locally, as reported in the latest update by the platform at the end of last month.
This increase of €200,000 followed his participation with the national team, “the Atlas Lions,” in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The list of top-valued players in the local league witnessed significant changes, with Yahya Attiat Allah (€2.5 million), the previous leader, moving to the Russian league. Meanwhile, the market value of Yehia Jabrane decreased from €1.7 million to €1.5 million.
Here is the ranking of the highest-valued players according to the February update from “Transfermarkt”:
1. Mehdi Benubeid (€1.7 million)
2. Yehia Jabrane (€1.5 million)
3. Rabie Hrimat (€1.4 million)
4. Reda Tagnaouti (€1.1 million)
