Galatasaray linked with Stuttgart and Morocco midfielder Bilal El Khannouss

Morocco international Bilal El Khannouss is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Stuttgart to Turkish club Galatasaray.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has made 14 appearances for Stuttgart this season, including eight Bundesliga games and four in the Champions League. He has scored twice in the league, while starting all four of the club’s Champions League matches.

El Khannouss joined Stuttgart permanently from Leicester on 1 July 2026 in a deal worth €15m, having previously spent the 2025-26 season at the German club on loan. He had joined Leicester from Genk for €22.5m in August 2024.

The player’s current market value is listed at €35m, although there is no indication of a proposed fee or advanced negotiations with Galatasaray. The rumour concerns a move from the Bundesliga to the Turkish Super Lig.

El Khannouss was born in Belgium and represents Morocco internationally. He was part of the Morocco side that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 and also won the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.

He remains under contract with Stuttgart until 30 June 2030.
