Al Ahly midfielder Emam Ashour remains a doubt for the club’s upcoming Egypt Cup encounter against El Sekka El Hadid as the technical team continues to assess his fitness ahead of the fixture.

The Egyptian giants are scheduled to face the second-division side on Saturday at 8:00 pm Cairo time in a Round of 32 encounter, with Ashour’s availability still uncertain.

The midfielder is expected to return to normal training on Friday as he continues his efforts to regain full match fitness. However, his participation in the cup fixture will depend on the technical staff’s assessment of his physical condition.

Despite the prospect of returning to training, Ashour has yet to reach the required level of readiness to guarantee his involvement against El Sekka El Hadid.
