Club Bruges beat PSV Eindhoven to make it nine wins in a row

Club Bruges secured a 2-1 victory at PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, to claim their ninth consecutive win in all competitions.

The Belgian side took the lead in the 25th minute when Nicolo Tresoldi finished to put the visitors ahead before half-time. PSV responded after the interval, with Kodai Sano levelling in the 54th minute after capitalising on a poor clearance by the Club Bruges defence.

Peter Bosz’s side then pressed for a second goal as they looked to complete the turnaround, but Club Bruges restored their advantage in the 65th minute. Carlos Forbs was played through by Joaquin Seys and kept his composure in a one-on-one situation with Matej Kovar, finding the net to put the visitors back in front.

PSV continued to search for another equaliser, with Ricardo Pepi and Sergino Dest among those to threaten the Club Bruges goal. However, the Dutch side could not find a second way through.

Club Bruges goalkeeper Yann Sommer also played a key role in protecting the lead during the closing stages. He produced an important save to keep out a dangerous free-kick from Esmir Bajraktarevic.

The result gives Club Bruges all three points from their trip to Eindhoven and extends their winning run, while PSV suffer a home defeat after briefly raising hopes of completing a comeback.
