Mamelodi Sundowns face Durban City with top spot in sight

Mamelodi Sundowns will look to finish the weekend at the top of the Betway Premiership when they host Durban City at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

Sundowns have made an unbeaten start to their league campaign, collecting seven wins and two draws from their opening nine matches. The Brazilians responded to their shock CAF Champions League setback earlier this week by edging past Marumo Gallants 1-0 in the Carling Knockout.

Durban City, meanwhile, arrive seeking a return to winning form after their Carling Knockout campaign ended on Wednesday with a 2-0 defeat by Stellenbosch FC.

The Nedbank Cup holders have managed only one victory in their first eight league matches. Their manager, Eric Tinkler, is still waiting for his first domestic win with the club.

The starting line-ups have been confirmed.
