Achraf Hakimi inspires Paris Saint-Germain comeback in five-goal victory over Le Havre

Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to beat Le Havre 5-1 on Friday, with Achraf Hakimi involved in all five goals in a remarkable Ligue 1 performance.

Le Havre took a surprise lead in the 18th minute when Maya finished a flowing team move by Rayan Fofana, sliding a left-footed shot past Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.

The home side responded eight minutes later. Hakimi delivered a cross into the penalty area, where Hernandez produced an excellent touch to set up Jodts, who made no mistake with the finish to level the match.

Paris Saint-Germain completed the turnaround only two minutes later. Hakimi collected a pass from Mayulu, went past Tuba and then rounded goalkeeper Gautier Lloris before rolling the ball into an unguarded net.

The goal gave the hosts a 2-1 lead at half-time and underlined Hakimi’s growing influence on the contest. The Morocco international was central to Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking threat throughout the opening period.

Paris Saint-Germain continued to dominate after the interval and extended their advantage in the 55th minute. Hakimi scored directly from a superb free-kick from the edge of the penalty area, striking the ball with his right foot and finding the net.

Mayulu added a fourth goal soon afterwards after Le Havre goalkeeper Bodart made a serious mistake while attempting to clear the ball. The error left Paris Saint-Germain in complete control.

Hakimi completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute, taking advantage of another mistake by Bodart to score again. His third goal brought his personal contribution to the match to three goals and two assists, as he played a part in each of his side’s five goals.

The result gave Paris Saint-Germain a sixth consecutive victory and kept them top of the Ligue 1 table. They now face Villarreal in the Champions League on 03 November 2026.

Le Havre remain at the bottom of the standings and are still without a win. Their next fixture is against Lorient on 08 November 2026.
