Top European clubs chase DR Congo midfielder Noah Sadiki
DR Congo international Noah Sadiki has reportedly attracted interest from several top European clubs following his impressive performances for Sunderland in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest sides, with his performances and potential making him an increasingly attractive prospect ahead of the upcoming transfer windows.
According to reports, Juventus, Napoli, Newcastle United, Atlético Madrid and Liverpool are among the clubs closely monitoring the Sunderland youngster.
The growing list of interested clubs underlines the rising reputation of Sadiki, who has continued to attract attention with his displays since joining the English outfit.
However, any attempt to secure his services could prove challenging, with Sunderland determined to retain the midfielder, who remains under contract with the club until 2030.
His long-term contract places the Premier League side in a strong negotiating position should any of the interested clubs decide to formalise their interest.
Meanwhile, Transfermarkt currently estimates the market value of the DR Congo international at around €40 million, although Sunderland could demand a significantly higher fee given his age, potential and contractual situation.
With several European heavyweights reportedly keeping tabs on his progress, Sadiki could become one of the names to watch when the next transfer window opens.
It remains to be seen whether Juventus, Liverpool, Atlético Madrid or the other interested clubs will make a concrete move to prise the talented midfielder away from Sunderland.
