Senny Mayulu delighted after contributing goal and assist in PSG's 5-1 win over Le Havre

Senny Mayulu has expressed his satisfaction after contributing a goal and an assist in Paris Saint-Germain’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Le Havre in Ligue 1 on Friday night.

The 20-year-old midfielder continued his impressive run of form, finding the net for the second consecutive match while also providing an assist for Achraf Hakimi during the encounter at the Stade Océane.

Mayulu played a key role in PSG’s attacking display, helping the French champions recover from an early setback before they went on to secure a convincing victory.

Speaking after the match, the French youngster stressed the importance of collecting all three points to strengthen PSG’s position at the top of the table.

“Today was a match we had to win to extend our lead. We did the job and we’re very happy,” Mayulu said.

The midfielder was pleased with his individual contribution, having registered both a goal and an assist on the night.

“Goalscorer and assist? I tried to help the team. I had chances, so I’m happy to have contributed. This scoreline is good for morale,” he added.

Mayulu also explained why PSG continued pushing for more goals despite establishing a comfortable advantage.

“Should we keep pushing at 5-1? That’s what the coach tells us. Regardless of the score, we have to drive the point home even further. That’s what we did today.”

Mayulu’s performance was another encouraging development for Luis Enrique, who has continued to give opportunities to young players from the club’s academy.

The midfielder’s recent contributions have strengthened his case for more regular involvement, particularly with PSG navigating a demanding schedule across domestic and European competitions.

The victory moved PSG to 20 points from nine Ligue 1 matches, extending their advantage at the summit to two points over Lille.
