Juventus join European race to sign Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari

Juventus are monitoring Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari as they begin planning their next transfer-market moves, according to information from Ekrem Konur.

The 23-year-old Sweden international, who is of Tunisian origin, has attracted interest from several leading European clubs. His future at Brighton is uncertain, with negotiations over a new long-term contract yet to produce an agreement.

Atletico de Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma and AC Milan are also understood to be following Ayari’s situation. The level of competition reflects the growing interest in a player whose performances have brought him to the attention of a number of ambitious clubs.

For Juventus, Ayari could offer a way to strengthen their midfield with a player who remains relatively young but has already drawn interest at the highest level. However, any move is likely to require a significant financial commitment.

Ayari’s current contract with Brighton is due to expire at the end of the season, increasing speculation about whether he will remain with the club. Talks over a long-term extension have reportedly encountered difficulties, leaving the midfielder’s next step unclear.

Brighton do retain an option to extend Ayari’s deal by a further year. That clause could give the English club greater control over the situation and reduce the risk of losing the player for a relatively low fee.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the contract, Brighton are not expected to allow Ayari to leave cheaply. The club could demand about 50 million euros for the Sweden international of Tunisian origin.

That valuation may make negotiations more difficult for the interested clubs, particularly if several decide to make formal approaches. Juventus will therefore have to assess their available resources and transfer priorities before deciding whether to make a concrete move.

The combination of stalled contract discussions, strong competition from across Europe and Brighton’s financial demands means Ayari’s situation is likely to remain closely watched. Juventus, Atletico de Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma and AC Milan will all be monitoring developments at Brighton.

No transfer has been agreed at this stage. However, if discussions over a new contract continue to make little progress, Ayari could become one of the players attracting significant attention in the next transfer window.
