Brentford and Bournemouth are monitoring young Fiorentina defender Eddy Kouadio, who is currently on loan at AC Monza, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The 20-year-old has made a strong impression in Serie A since the start of the season and has emerged as a player of interest to a number of clubs, particularly in the Premier League.
Kouadio has featured in each of the first eight rounds of the Italian top flight, becoming an important part of the side managed by Ivan Juric. His performances have underlined his development and his ability to compete at the highest level.
The defender’s progress also earned him a call-up from Roberto Mancini to the Italy national team for Nations League matches.
Fiorentina will have a key role in determining Kouadio’s next move. He remains under contract with the club until 30 June 2030, having joined in 2021 and worked his way through the club’s academy before making his professional breakthrough.
Brentford already have a recent relationship with Fiorentina after signing Michael Kayode. Bournemouth, meanwhile, are continuing their policy of recruiting promising young players from Italian football.
There has been no official bid or advanced negotiations involving either Premier League club so far. However, their interest reflects Kouadio’s growing reputation, with his market value currently estimated at 6 million euros.
AC Monza’s next fixture is against Napoli in the ninth round of the Italian championship.
