PSG linked with Nico Williams as Athletic Club contract runs to 2035

Spanish-Ghanaian winger Nico Williams is the subject of a reported move from Athletic Club to Paris St-Germain, with the Ligue 1 side linked with a potential transfer for the 24-year-old.

Williams has made eight LaLiga appearances for Athletic Club this season, scoring once, after starting half of the club’s possible league matches. His current market value is €40m, although there is no indication that a fee has been agreed or that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.

The left winger joined Athletic Club from Bilbao Athletic in July 2021 and has remained with the Basque club since. He has also established himself internationally with Spain, winning the 2024 European Championship and the 2026 World Cup.

Williams’ current contract with Athletic Club runs until 30 June 2035, meaning any move to PSG would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer. He remains an Athletic Club player while the reported interest from France develops.
