Galatasaray recovered from falling behind to beat LOSC 4-2 away from home in a dramatic UEFA Champions League third-round encounter.
The visitors made the perfect start when Yunus Akgun opened the scoring in the second minute. LOSC responded emphatically, with Soriba Diaou scoring twice to put the home side in front.
Diaou equalised in the seventh minute before completing his double four minutes before half-time, giving LOSC a 2-1 lead.
Galatasaray refused to go into the interval behind, however, and A. Batrakov restored parity with a goal in the 44th minute.
The Turkish side then regained control early in the second half when B. Ozer scored an own goal in the 52nd minute. Victor Osimhen added Galatasaray’s fourth goal nine minutes later to complete the scoring.
The match also featured a VAR intervention in the 27th minute, when a penalty decision was overturned during the first half.
Galatasaray held on to secure a 4-2 victory in a match full of momentum shifts and attacking action.
