Bayern Munich v Arsenal: Champions League team news and likely line-ups

Bayern Munich host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday at 19:00 GMT in a heavyweight meeting on matchday three of the UEFA Champions League.

Vincent Kompany’s Bayern are looking to respond after a surprising 3-3 draw against Viking. They face an Arsenal side in strong form after Mikel Arteta’s team produced a convincing 3-0 victory over Lille.

The two European giants meet with a place near the top of the table at stake, but both managers must cope with significant absences.

Bayern will be without Michael Olise, who is suspended, while Jamal Musiala is unavailable because of injury. Arsenal’s defensive leader William Saliba is also missing.

Here are the expected line-ups for both teams.
