Sadio Mané ranks seventh among world’s highest paid footballers in 2026
Sadio Mané has been ranked seventh among the world’s highest-paid footballers in 2026, with estimated earnings of $54m (£40m), according to Forbes.
The Senegal international features in the American magazine’s annual ranking published on 17 October, keeping his place among football’s biggest earners. The Al-Nassr forward’s total income is estimated at $50m from football and a further $4m from business activities and commercial partnerships.
Mané’s position puts him ahead of several prominent names, including England captain Harry Kane, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah.
Cristiano Ronaldo tops the 2026 list with estimated earnings of $300m, placing him well ahead of Lionel Messi, who ranks second with $145m. France captain Kylian Mbappé completes the top three with $100m.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is fourth on the list with $85m, while Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior takes fifth place with earnings estimated at $76m.
Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal ranks sixth with $55m, just $1m ahead of Mané, who completes the top seven.
The figures underline the financial standing Mané has maintained during his career, with the former Liverpool forward continuing to earn significant sums through football and commercial ventures.
At 34, Mané remains the highest-ranked Senegalese player in the Forbes ranking. His position also places him among an elite group of footballers whose earnings extend beyond their performances on the pitch.
The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward has enjoyed a career at some of Europe’s leading clubs before moving to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Nassr. His inclusion among the world’s highest earners reflects the financial rewards available to established stars playing at the highest level.
Mané’s $54m total comprises the bulk of his earnings from football, with his business interests and partnerships contributing the remaining $4m. The breakdown highlights the role commercial activities play in the overall income of leading footballers.
While Ronaldo leads the ranking by a considerable margin, Mané’s seventh-place finish confirms his position among the sport’s biggest earners in 2026, ahead of several internationally recognised players.
