Belgian coach Hugo Broos, currently leading the South African national team, has dismissed speculation surrounding his departure from his current role, awaiting a decision from the South African Football Association.
Addressing reporters during a post-match press conference following the game against the Democratic Republic of Congo, Broos expressed satisfaction with his work with the South African team and expressed his desire to continue the experience.
Regarding potential offers or contacts from the Tunisian national team, he stated, “In the event of departure, it would be due to the South African Football Association.
I want to stay here.”
It’s worth noting that Broos led South Africa to a third-place finish in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, following their victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo in a penalty shootout.
