PSG and Real Madrid tracking Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are monitoring Toulouse FC goalkeeper Guillaume Restes as they assess their long-term options in goal.

Restes, 21, has reportedly been added to PSG’s list of players under consideration as the club plans for the future of the position. His potential and scope for improvement are understood to have attracted attention, according to Ekrem Konur.

PSG are not the only major European club believed to be following the young goalkeeper. Real Madrid have also been keeping a close watch on his development.

The interest from both clubs reflects the growing appeal of a goalkeeper who, despite his age, has already gained experience of the demands of professional football.

Restes, who is of Ivorian origin, remains under contract with Toulouse FC until June 2028. That agreement gives the Ligue 1 club control over his immediate future and places it in a strong position should interest in the player develop further.

According to Transfermarkt, Restes has an estimated market value of 18 million euros. That figure could provide a reference point in any potential negotiations, although neither PSG nor Real Madrid is reported to have made an offer.

Toulouse’s priority will be to continue supporting the goalkeeper’s development while preparing for the approaches his progress could generate. For PSG and Real Madrid, their reported interest does not indicate that a transfer is imminent.

Restes could nevertheless become a player to watch in the coming transfer windows if either club decides to turn its interest into concrete action.
