Haitham Hassan starts for Celtic against Hearts for first time in a month

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has named Egypt international Haitham Hassan in his starting XI for the Scottish league match against Hearts.

The two sides meet shortly in the ninth round of the competition, with Hassan returning to the Celtic starting line-up for the first time in a month after serving as a substitute in recent matches.

The Egypt winger has made 11 appearances for Celtic since joining the club in the summer from Real Oviedo. He has provided two assists during that period.

Celtic lead the Scottish league table with 21 points, while Hearts are third on 18 points.
