Man Utd linked with Newcastle winger Bazoumana Toure
Cote d’Ivoire winger Bazoumana Toure, who plays for Newcastle, has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Man Utd.
Toure, 20, joined Newcastle from Hoffenheim on 5 July 2026 in a deal worth €50m. The left winger has made four Premier League appearances this season, scoring once, and has also scored in one EFL Cup appearance.
He has been used mainly from the bench in the league, with his four appearances accounting for 15% of Newcastle’s available Premier League minutes. Toure started half of Newcastle’s EFL Cup matches in which he appeared.
The forward also featured three times for Cote d’Ivoire at the 2026 World Cup, making one start. He has not scored or assisted in those appearances.
Toure began his European career with Hammarby before moving to Hoffenheim in February 2025. Newcastle signed him 17 months later and hold him under contract until 30 June 2031.
The reported link with Man Utd comes early in Toure’s Newcastle career, after he arrived at the club for a substantial fee and established a limited but productive role during the opening stages of the 2026-27 campaign. No transfer has been confirmed, and Toure remains a Newcastle player under a long-term contract.
