Marseille linked with Gremio winger Francis Amuzu
Francis Amuzu, the Ghanaian-Belgian winger currently at Gremio, has been linked with a move to Marseille in Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old joined Gremio from Anderlecht in February 2025 for €1.2m and has established himself as an important attacking option for the Brazilian club. His contract expires on 31 December 2026, with his future now attracting interest from France.
Amuzu has made 25 appearances in the 2026 Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, scoring once and providing three assists. He has also contributed four goals and two assists in six appearances across the Copa do Brasil and Copa Sudamericana.
The left winger won the Campeonato Gaucho with Gremio during the 2025-26 season. He has a current market value of €8m, having reached a previous high of €9m.
A move to Marseille would represent a return to European football for Amuzu, who developed through Anderlecht’s academy and played for the Belgian club before joining Gremio. He made 170 appearances for Anderlecht, according to his transfer record, before moving to Brazil.
There is no indication that a transfer has been agreed, with Amuzu remaining a Gremio player and his contract running until the end of 2026.
