Moroccan forward Abde Ezzalzouli was on target as Real Betis secured an emphatic 5-2 victory over Osasuna in their Spanish La Liga encounter.

The Morocco international started for the Andalusian side and found the back of the net in the 31st minute, helping Betis establish control of the contest before the break.

Isco had opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 10th minute before Ezzalzouli doubled the hosts’ advantage, giving them a comfortable 2-0 lead at half-time.

However, the second half produced a dramatic turnaround as Osasuna fought their way back into the game.

Ante Budimir scored an own goal in the 48th minute to extend Betis’ lead, but he quickly made amends by finding the net for Osasuna three minutes later.

Raul Garcia then completed the visitors’ comeback with an equaliser in the 56th minute, leaving Betis under pressure after surrendering their two-goal advantage.

Isco restored the hosts’ lead in the 67th minute with his second goal of the afternoon, putting Betis back in front as they sought to regain control.

Jose Morante subsequently sealed the victory by scoring in the sixth minute of stoppage time, completing a convincing 5-2 win for the home side.

Ezzalzouli’s goal takes his tally to two in La Liga this season, providing another boost to his contribution in Betis’ attack.

The Moroccan international will now look to build on his performance as the Andalusian club continues its campaign in the Spanish top flight.
