Manuel Neuer was in goal as Bayern Munich conceded the fastest goal in Bundesliga history during their meeting with Augsburg.
Bayern travelled to the WWK ARENA for their fifth Bundesliga fixture of the season, but Augsburg took the lead after just 8.5 seconds.
Robin Fellhauer put the hosts ahead after pressuring the experienced goalkeeper. Neuer was unable to keep possession, allowing Fellhauer to finish into an unguarded net.
The goal broke the previous Bundesliga record, set by former Hoffenheim player Kevin Volland in 2015 when he scored against Bayern Munich after nine seconds.
Neuer was also the goalkeeper on that occasion, meaning both record-breaking goals were conceded by the Bayern Munich captain.
It was the third goal Bayern Munich had conceded in the Bundesliga this season, after their defence had been breached twice in matches against Stuttgart and Elversberg.
