Malian right-back Adama Camara has extended his contract with Paris FC until June 2028 after establishing himself as a key figure for the French club.

Paris FC announced the extension on Friday, adding another season to the defender’s previous deal, which was due to expire in 2027.

The 29-year-old, who recently made his debut for Mali at international level, has been a regular under head coach Liam Rosenior. He has played every minute of Paris FC’s first five Ligue 1 matches of the 2026-27 season.

Camara continues to impress in Ligue 1

Born in Bondy, France, Camara joined Paris FC in the summer of 2023 without having previously progressed through a youth academy system.

He quickly became an important member of the squad and played a significant role in the club’s promotion to Ligue 1 at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The defender has carried that form into the top flight, making 34 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring once.

A key figure in Paris FC’s progress

Camara has made 109 appearances for Paris FC across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing one assist.

His consistency and importance to the team have earned him a contract extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.

The new deal represents another milestone in Camara’s career as he continues to establish himself in French football while beginning his journey with the Mali national team.
