Trezeguet returns to Al Riyadh training ahead of Al Fayha test

Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” has recovered from his injury and resumed full training with Al Riyadh.

The Egypt international had been ruled out for four weeks after suffering a hamstring tear, an injury previously confirmed by the Saudi club.

According to Al Maydan Al Riyadi, Trezeguet took part normally in Al Riyadh’s training session after completing his recovery. However, his involvement against Al Fayha will be determined by the manager.

Al Riyadh will face Al Fayha next Sunday in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League. The match will be Trezeguet’s first possible appearance since his injury, although the final decision on his selection has yet to be made.

Trezeguet joined Al Riyadh at the start of the current season after ending his contract with Al Ahli by mutual consent.

The former Al Ahli player has made six appearances for Al Riyadh in all competitions since moving to the club this summer. He has scored one goal and provided two assists.

Al Riyadh are 11th in the Saudi Pro League table with eight points, while Al Fayha are 12th with six points.
