Frosinone have confirmed that Fares Ghedjemis has signed a new contract keeping him at the Serie A club until the summer of 2030.

The agreement, which extends his stay by two seasons, was officially announced on Thursday after the final administrative formalities were completed.

Ghedjemis’ agent, Sofiane Mahieddine, spoke to Maghreb-Foot after the renewal had been concluded. He said the negotiations had taken place in a calm and positive atmosphere over the past few weeks and approved the terms of the new agreement.

The representative also said the Algeria international has set fresh targets for the campaign. Ghedjemis is aiming to complete a successful season at club level and earn a return to the Algeria national team.

The 24-year-old, who was born in Montreuil, is currently valued at 12 million euros. Under his previous contract, he earned an annual salary of 830 000 euros, equivalent to 544 457 610 FCFA.

Since the start of the season, Ghedjemis has played 238 minutes across four matches for Frosinone.

Frosinone’s next fixture will come in the sixth round of the Italian championship, when they face Naples. The match odds listed are 7.00 for a Frosinone victory, 4.75 for a draw and 1.44 for a Naples win.
