Egyptian international Omar Marmoush has returned to Tottenham Hotspur’s first-team training following the conclusion of the first international break of the 2026/27 season.

Marmoush rejoined his club teammates on Thursday after representing Egypt during the international window, featuring in three matches against South Africa, South Sudan and Angola.

The forward ended the international break on a positive note after scoring twice against South Sudan, a performance that could provide an important confidence boost as he looks to rediscover his best scoring form.

Tottenham will be hoping Marmoush can carry that momentum back to club football as they prepare for a difficult Premier League trip to Manchester United.

The club’s official social media account shared a picture of the Egyptian forward after he returned to Tottenham ahead of Thursday’s training session.

Marmoush’s return comes at an important time for Tottenham, who have endured a difficult start to the Premier League campaign.

They are currently 19th in the table with just two points and have struggled in front of goal, scoring only once in their opening matches before finally finding the net in their most recent game against Aston Villa.

Tottenham will travel to Old Trafford on Saturday, October 10, to face Manchester United, with the club looking to improve their position and turn around their disappointing start to the campaign.

For Marmoush, the immediate objective will be to translate his improved international form into his club performances and help Tottenham find a much-needed attacking spark.
