Arsenal’s Max Dowman recognised with three Guinness World Records

Guinness World Records has presented Arsenal youngster Max Dowman with three certificates for records he has set during the early stages of his professional career.

Dowman became the youngest player in UEFA Champions League history when he appeared in the competition aged 15 years and 308 days.

He also holds the record for being the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history, having scored at the age of 16 years and 73 days.

His third record is as the youngest player to win the Premier League, achieving the feat aged 16 years and 144 days.

Dowman made his first-team debut for Arsenal at the age of 15, beginning a senior career in which he has established several landmark records.

This season, he also became the second-youngest player after Wayne Rooney, who achieved the feat with Everton in 2002, to score twice in a single match for a Premier League club.

Dowman reached that milestone when he scored two goals against Ipswich Town in the League Cup last month.
