Joan Garcia has returned to Barcelona’s first-team training after suffering a knee injury during the team’s match against Racing Santander on 17 September.
The goalkeeper took part in a full team session for the first time since sustaining the injury, a development that brings him closer to making a normal return to competitive action.
Barcelona previously said Garcia had been suffering from slight discomfort in his right knee.
After the match, manager Hansi Flick said Garcia had felt pain in one of his knees and that further tests would determine whether he could play against Sevilla on Saturday.
Wojciech Szczesny replaced Garcia during the match against Racing Santander, while Dominik Livakovic started the following game against Sevilla.
