Real Madrid revive interest in Juventus forward Kenan Yıldız ahead of 2027 transfer battle
Real Madrid are preparing to make a renewed approach for Juventus forward Kenan Yıldız, with the Turkey international expected to become one of the leading names in the summer 2027 transfer market.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Yıldız has returned to Real Madrid’s list of priorities and the Spanish club could make a formal offer in the coming months.
Real Madrid first made enquiries about the player’s situation in the winter of 2025, when Xabi Alonso identified him as one of his principal targets. The club’s interest has now resurfaced as they continue to assess ways of strengthening their attacking options.
Yıldız’s future is closely linked to Juventus’ sporting prospects. The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the central figures in the Italian club’s long-term project, having extended his contract until 2030.
However, another failure by Juventus to qualify for the Champions League could alter the situation. The club’s hierarchy may then consider selling their young star in the summer of 2027, particularly if they believe they have a suitable alternative in the shape of fellow young player Alajbegovic.
Juventus have valued Yıldız at about 100 million euros at least for almost a year, meaning Real Madrid would have to commit to a substantial fee to complete the deal.
The Spanish club do not appear ready to withdraw from the race because of the asking price. They are continuing to strengthen their attacking depth and build a squad capable of coping with a congested fixture schedule.
If Yıldız were to move to Santiago Bernabeu, he could compete directly with Vinicius Junior for the left-wing position. Real Madrid regard that role as one of the key areas of their attack for the coming years.
The race for the forward is set to involve more than Real Madrid. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also monitoring the player’s situation.
Arsenal are looking to reinforce their options on the left wing, while Bayern Munich have a detailed knowledge of Yıldız from his time in the club’s academy. That background means the German side are also well placed to follow developments as Juventus consider their options.
For now, Juventus remain committed to Yıldız as an important part of their plans, but the player’s long-term future could depend on the club’s European qualification and the level of interest from the leading clubs tracking him.
