Zamalek will face Rwanda Army in the first leg of their CAF Champions League round-of-32 tie on 16 October, with a Cameroonian officiating team appointed for the match at Kigali Amohoro Stadium in Rwanda.
Abdoul Mfiri will referee the game, with Elvis Ngougo and Rodrigue Meni named as his assistants. Max Issouma has been selected as the fourth official.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) informed Zamalek of the appointments ahead of the two-legged tie.
Mfiri previously officiated a Zamalek match during last season’s CAF Confederation Cup. He was in charge when the Egyptian side lost 1-0 to Zesco in the group stage.
CAF has appointed Tanzania’s Khaled Abdullah Mohamed as the general match commissioner, while Uganda’s Ali Molumba Tomusangi will act as referee observer.
The second leg is scheduled for Saturday, 24 October, at Cairo International Stadium. Kick-off is set for 20:00.
Zamalek plan to travel to Rwanda on Monday, 12 October, ahead of the away fixture.
The Egyptian club reached the Champions League round of 32 after beating Port of Djibouti 6-1 on aggregate in the previous round.
Zamalek won the first leg 2-1 before completing the tie with a 4-0 victory in the return match. Both games were played in Cairo.
Rwanda Army secured their place in the round of 32 by defeating Congolese club Eagles 3-1 on aggregate.
