Andy Boyeli returns to Zambia with Power Dynamos after Sekhukhune United exit

Democratic Republic of Congo forward Andy Boyeli has returned to Zambia after joining Power Dynamos on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the reigning Zambian champions, according to Soccer Laduma.

Boyeli became a free agent after ending his spell with Sekhukhune United, where he had struggled to establish himself following his move to South Africa.

“The thing is he eventually parted ways with Sekhukhune United, and he was a free agent,” a source said.

Boyeli joined Babina Noko from Power Dynamos on a three-year contract before the start of the 2024/25 season. However, he was loaned to Tanzanian club Young Africans last season before later securing his departure from Sekhukhune United.

He made 32 appearances for the Betway Premiership side and scored six goals during his time in South Africa.

The move gives Boyeli an opportunity to revive his career with a club he already knows. His return to Power Dynamos follows a difficult period at Sekhukhune United.

Soccer Laduma contacted Boyeli’s representatives, P Management, for comment, but they declined.
