Edon Zhegrova says his desire to achieve something significant with Juventus was the reason he chose to remain at the club during the summer.
The Bosnia international told Sport Mediaset that he did not want to leave after joining Juventus and is determined to make a meaningful contribution.
“My decision to stay at Juventus? I love this club and I want to achieve something great,” Zhegrova said. “When I signed for Juventus, I was extremely happy. I did not want to leave in that way.”
The 27-year-old added that he wanted to remain in Turin and help the club succeed.
“I wanted to stay at Juventus and achieve great things for the club,” he said. “I am very happy to be at a big club such as Juventus, with my team-mates and the coach.”
Zhegrova also pledged to give his full effort whenever he is selected.
“I will give my best for Juventus every time I play a match,” he said.
The forward had been close to leaving Juventus during the previous summer transfer window. He was also left out of the club’s European squad for the Europa League.
Juventus signed Zhegrova from Lille in the summer of 2025 for 15 million euros.
He has made four appearances for Juventus during the current season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 72 minutes of playing time.
