Brahim Hemdani is set to strengthen his Algeria coaching staff with at least three new members when the Fennecs meet again in November.
The new Algeria manager is expected to bring in two video analysts, both of whom will be selected directly by Hemdani, according to El Heddaf. They are due to join the national-team staff during the next gathering.
One or two additional assistant coaches could also be appointed, meaning Hemdani may ultimately add three or four members to his backroom team.
The changes would give the manager a more complete support structure as he continues the work started during his first international gathering in charge. Video analysis has become an increasingly important part of modern football, covering opposition assessment, tactical sequences and individual performances.
Hemdani has already overseen two matches since taking charge of Algeria, collecting four points in the opening games of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers.
His first match produced an encouraging result as Algeria defeated Zambia 3-1 in Tizi Ouzou. The second fixture, away to Burundi, proved considerably more difficult.
The Fennecs fell 2-0 behind after being forced to withstand an energetic display from the Hirondelles in front of their home supporters. Algeria responded, however, showing the resilience required to fight back and secure a 2-2 draw.
That unbeaten start has given Hemdani a positive platform, although the match in Burundi also exposed areas that need to be addressed. The manager will now have further personnel available to help him work on those issues from November.
After beginning to shape the team on the pitch, Hemdani is now preparing to build a larger staff around the Algeria squad.
