Senegal-Morocco CAN 2025 appeal hearing set for 8 October 2026

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hear the Senegalese Football Federation’s appeal against the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 8 October 2026.

The case follows CAF’s decision to award the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final to Morocco by a 3-0 forfeit.

The hearing will be held behind closed doors. CAS said the parties had not requested an expedited procedure, meaning the case will proceed under the normal timetable.

The arbitration panel will begin its deliberations after hearing the parties. No verdict is expected on 8 October, and CAS said it was not yet able to announce a date for its decision.
