Wednesday fixtures: Gulf Cup double-header headlines 30 September schedule

Two matches from the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup are scheduled for Wednesday, 30 September 2026, with Bahrain facing Yemen and the United Arab Emirates taking on Qatar in the third round.

An Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture will also be played, as Eritrea meet South Africa in the second round.

The Bahrain-Yemen match will kick off at 20:30 Saudi Arabia time and 21:30 United Arab Emirates time. It will be shown on Sharjah Sports 2, Al Kass 2 and Kuwait Sports 2, with Mohamed Al-Hinai, Samir Al-Maerifi and Mohamed Al-Otaibi listed as the commentators respectively.

The United Arab Emirates-Qatar game begins at the same time, 20:30 in Saudi Arabia and 21:30 in the United Arab Emirates. Coverage will be available on Sharjah Sports, Al Kass 1 and Kuwait Sports, with Moses Eid, Ahmed Al-Tayeb and Ali Al-Shammari assigned to commentary.

Eritrea’s meeting with South Africa is scheduled for 19:00 Saudi Arabia time and 20:00 United Arab Emirates time. The match will be broadcast on beIN Sports, although no commentator has yet been announced.
