Club Africain announced through its official Facebook page today, Friday, the official signing of Moncef El Kabir as their new coach, replacing the Frenchman Jean-Michel Cavalli, whose contract was mutually terminated.
El Kabir, 53, previously coached several teams including AS Djerba, EGS Gafsa, ES Tunis, his former club Club Sportif de Hammam-Lif, Club Sportif de Hammam-Lif, and the Tunisian national team, as well as Morocco’s Raja Casablanca.
The appointment of El Kabir comes after a period of speculation regarding Club Africain’s coaching position following the departure of Cavalli.
The Tunisian club expressed confidence in El Kabir’s abilities to lead the team forward and achieve their objectives in both domestic and continental competitions.
