Moses Mabhida Stadium to host MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that Moses Mabhida Stadium will host the MTN8 final between defending champions Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns on 10 October.

The match, a repeat of the 2023 final, will kick off at 18h00 after the venue remained uncertain for several weeks.

Orlando Pirates will be bidding to win the competition for a fifth consecutive time, while Mamelodi Sundowns are seeking their second MTN8 triumph in the last decade.

The final will bring together two of South Africa’s leading clubs, with the Buccaneers returning as holders and the Brazilians attempting to claim the trophy.

General Access tickets will cost R150 each and will be sold online only through www.opentickets.co.za.

Sales will open on Friday, 02 October 2026, from 10h00.

To ensure fair access, supporters will be limited to a maximum of four tickets each.
