Abdellah Ouazane back on Real Madrid radar, Italian media report

Real Madrid are once again monitoring Abdellah Ouazane after a proposed move for the Ajax midfielder collapsed at the final stage in 2025, according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.

Ouazane appeared close to joining the Spanish club during the summer of 2025. He had already completed his medical, but Real Madrid ultimately decided not to proceed with the transfer.

Despite that setback, Tuttomercatoweb reports that the 19-year-old is again high on Real Madrid’s list of potential targets. The club is said to be tracking his progress closely and considering a fresh approach.

“The Real Madrid follows the evolution of the situation closely, studies the daily reports and prepares a strategic offensive,” the Italian outlet wrote.

“The objective is clear: to recruit Ouazane before his market value explodes, so that Jose Mourinho can once again have a future midfield player in his squad.”

Ouazane has made a strong impression for Ajax so far this season. He has played 12 matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

His development has also earned him a first call-up to the Morocco national team.
