Keyliane Abdallah’s market value rises 100-fold after breakthrough Marseille start

Keyliane Abdallah’s impressive start to the season has seen the 20-year-old Olympique de Marseille forward’s estimated market value increase from €50,000 to €5m, according to Transfermarkt.

That represents a rise of 9,900% in just a few months, with Abdallah’s early performances for his boyhood club driving the dramatic change.

Two goals and a memorable first start

Abdallah has scored twice for Olympique de Marseille, including in the Europa League against Besiktas on his first start for the club.

Operating from the right wing, the forward has offered pace, direct running and a willingness to attack. His contribution against the Turkish side was not limited to his work in possession, as he also won back five balls and prevailed in 100% of his duels.

Those performances have helped Abdallah establish himself more firmly within the first-team group and begin to fulfil the expectations surrounding him.
