Real Madrid name 24-man squad for Atletico derby

Jose Mourinho has named a 24-player Real Madrid squad for Sunday’s derby against neighbours Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.

The fixture is the seventh round of La Liga. Real Madrid go into the match second in the table with 15 points, two ahead of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.

The club published the squad on its official website on Saturday.

Defenders: Raul Asencio, Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella, Alvaro Carreras, Antonio Rudiger, Denzel Dumfries

Forwards: Vinicius Junior, Endrick, Kylian Mbappe, Carlos Espe, Brahim Diaz, Yan Diomande

Real Madrid confirmed the selection in a social media post on 19 September 2026, alongside a message reading: “Our squad! Against Atletico.”
