The Professional Football League has informed various professional clubs of its decision to cancel the imposed sanctions on players during the first half of the season.
In an official statement posted on its website, the Professional Football League clarified that the sanctions imposed on players during the first half of the season, limited to or equaling three yellow cards, are now null and void as the second half of the season commences.
However, the league authorities disclosed that any suspension imposed on a player during the first half of the season, resulting from accumulating four yellow cards, will remain in effect for the second half, in accordance with Article 34 of the Algerian Football Federation’s regulations.
It’s worth noting that the second half of the current season of the professional football championship is set to kick off tomorrow, Friday.
