Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical team for Al Ahly’s first football team, disclosed that the medical examinations undergone by Khalid Abdul Fattah, a player for the team, confirmed his injury to the foot ligaments, subjecting him to a therapeutic and rehabilitative program for his recovery.
The head of the medical team emphasized that Khalid Abdul Fattah underwent MRI scans yesterday and completed the remaining medical examinations today, following his injury during a friendly match against Smouha held last Monday at the Salam Stadium.
Al Ahly resumed their training today at the El Tetsh Stadium, preparing for the match against CR Belouizdad scheduled to take place in Algeria as part of the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The head coach, Marcelo Gallardo, granted the team a day of rest yesterday, except for the international players who underwent intense training at El Tetsh Stadium as part of the training program.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly continued their preparations today for the match against CR Belouizdad in the Champions League.
