Raja Casablanca sign Denmark-Morocco midfielder Younes Bakiz on loan
Denmark-Morocco attacking midfielder Younes Bakiz has joined Raja Casablanca from Silkeborg IF on loan, with the Moroccan club paying a €50,000 loan fee for the 2026-27 season.
The 27-year-old has moved to Botola Pro Inwi after starting the campaign with Silkeborg in Denmark’s Superliga. His loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to the Danish club.
Bakiz made five Superliga appearances before completing the move, playing 129 minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He also featured for the full 90 minutes in Silkeborg’s Betano Pokalen match and played 90 minutes in the Future Cup.
The Albertslund-born midfielder plays in an attacking midfield role and is comfortable using either foot. He joined Silkeborg from Aalborg BK in July 2024 for a fee of €400,000 and had a market value of €1.5m at the time of his move to Raja Casablanca.
Bakiz began his senior career with FC Roskilde after progressing from the club’s under-19 side. He moved to Viborg FF in August 2020 on a free transfer and helped the club win the Danish second tier in 2021.
He subsequently joined Aalborg in August 2022 before making the switch to Silkeborg two years later. His latest move represents his first transfer away from Denmark, taking him to Raja Casablanca for the remainder of the season.
Raja Club Athletic is the player’s registered new club, and the transfer was completed on 15 September 2026. Bakiz’s return to Silkeborg is scheduled for the end of the loan on 30 June 2027.
